How can we respond to ourselves and to the world with love? This question has guided Stacey's practice of yoga and meditation both on and off the yoga mat for more than 25 years. Stacey strives to facilitate yoga practices that are welcoming and create a safe space for everyone. She is interested in the intention of each pose and exploring how each practitioner can work with this intention in their own unique body. She is particularly interested in balancing mobility and stability. Stacey both demos and also walks around the room, and she tries to talk as she moves so that there are no surprises about where she is. She prefers to offer props and have a conversation instead of offering hands-on assists. Stacey completed both her foundational and advanced trainings with Boston Yoga School, and was lucky enough to study Iyengar Yoga with Nadja Refaie. Her knowledge of and love for Restorative Yoga is guided by the teachings of Judith Hanson Lasater (She is an advanced Relax and Renew® instructor), Roger Cole, Tricia Hersey, and Dr. Gail Parker. She completed a second 200-hour training specific to Yin Yoga. Stacey has studied and practiced both prenatal yoga (She is an RPYT) and yoga for the stages of menopause.
