About the Class
Join Marcie Bower and Marissa Farrell- two herbalists–one trained in Western herbalism and one in Eastern herbalism–for this introductory workshop about common herbs and how to use them to promote health for you and your family. Learn how to treat ailments such as seasonal allergies, the common cold, upset stomach, and sleep problems with medicinal plants, before turning to medication.
We will review ways to effectively take herbs, where to order good quality herbs from, and necessary precautions to take. You will also have the opportunity to feel, see, smell, and sometimes taste a variety of the herbs and formulations discussed. Limited to 20.
Presented in cooperation with Needham Continuing Education. Please register through NCE's website at the link above.
