About the Class
Seated tai chi is adapted from traditional qi gong and tai chi practices. It consists of gentle, low-impact movements performed while sitting in a chair. The primary goals are to increase flexibility and promote better energy flow throughout the body. Participants use a chair without armrests during the class. This seating arrangement allows students to move freely and achieve a broad range of motion with each exercise. The class also includes a segment utilizing a tai chi ruler - a 12-inch stick. This tool is integrated into the exercises to further support flexibility and improve the mobility of shoulders and wrists. This class is suitable for all levels of mobility and experience.
