About the Class
This class is designed for expectant and new mothers to help prepare the body and mind for motherhood. Each class begins with a childbirth education style "check in" followed by a safe yoga practice to move the body with postures that are challenging, grounding, uplifting, and strength building – all of which bring you to your center where confidence, awareness and better breathing await. There are always a lot of laughs and common pregnancy / new mom experiences shared in class.
Your Instructor
Marissa Farrell
Marissa created and (still) instructs a unique yoga practice based on the Astanga Vinyasa, and Iyengar methods of yoga. These traditional styles are heavily influenced by her years of dance, martial arts, personal training,
