About the Class
This class combines stretch and strength exercises derived from time honored classical ballet technique. It will combine floor barre work with exercises at the barre. It is designed to teach students how to work from their lower abdominals, creating strong, stretched bodies without bulking up muscle mass. Students will learn how the basics of ballet technique contribute to beautiful, powerful, centered bodies. There is heavy emphasis on proper alignment and weight placement to help develop graceful, fluid movement. No ballet experience required. Please dress comfortably and bring non stick socks.

Skye Robinson
Skye’s professional career spans over 40 years of performing and teaching, in both Boston and her hometown of NYC. She holds a Masters of Special Education from Boston College with a specialty in Dance Therapy.
