
About the Class
Many students begin their yoga practice in the "middle of things." In this Fundamentals class, there is a strong focus on building from the ground up for a healthy yoga practice - an understanding of the use of the breath and posture to maintain a healthy nervous system, a calm mind & agile body. Emphasis is placed on learning the fundamental yoga postures, alignment and biomechanics to develop strength, flexibility, and balance. For beginning and continuing students who want to refine their understanding of practice or are just interested at practicing at this level of practice - beginner's mind.
Your Instructor
Andrea Fotopoulos
Andrea has been studying and teaching yoga for over 25 years. Earning two 500 hour E-RYT teaching certificates (and might be working on her 3rd), she is continually engaged in the study of all that is yoga.
