Join Abby Prague of Boston Mahjong for a fun evening of socializing and gameplay!
Doors open at 4:30pm, gameplay starts at 5pm. All you need to bring is your 2026 NMJL card (Abby will have extras in case you don't have one or forget yours at home), we provide everything else!
Two levels of play tables will be available, Open Play, for those who are comfortable playing Mahjong in a group setting, and Guided Play, for newer players who are looking for guidance from experienced instructors. Guided Play is best for players with a basic understanding of how to play the game.
Light refreshments will be served, BYO beverages. Lucky Joker Jodi Jewelry will be selling Mahjong inspired jewlery, and you can enter to win a great raffle prize while you're here!

Abby Prague
Abby is a former attorney in the Boston area who teaches American Mahjong using National Mah Jongg League rules with a run and modern approach. She helps to break down the rules of the game to make it accessible to all. As she likes to say, "Mahjong isn't hard, it's just not intuitive, and it needs a great teacher!" Abby believes that Mahjong is a great way to foster connections across generations.
